Reverend Stryker was the head of a survivalist religious cult located in Altro. He was accussed of killing a former cult member named Frank Anders. His rebellious daughter is Veronica Stryker, and she is the one who actually killed Frank Anders.
While confronting Ghost Rider, his daughter and several of his followers falls under the spell of Zarathos, and Zarathos begins to gain power from their worship. In an attempt to free his daughter from the control of the Ghost Rider, he blows up his compound. Ghost Rider absorbs the blast, but he is weakened and this allows Blaze reasserts himself. The Reverend takes his daughter away, having been shocked by the realization of where his actions and beliefs have taken him. [1]
